The IMP #18

The IMP is a small Euro-style nymph for technical trout water. It gives selective fish a different look from standard bead head patterns, a useful change-up when familiar flies get refused.

Fish it as a dropper in a Euro rig or behind a dry fly during small-insect activity. Size #18 matches the tiny mayflies and midges of clear spring creeks and tailwaters.
