Rubber Leg Black/Orange #8

The Rubber Leg Black/Orange is a stonefly nymph on a size 8 hook with high-contrast black and orange coloration. The bright orange accents act as a trigger in the drift.

Fish it dead-drifted deep through fast water. The rubber legs add constant motion, and the bold color scheme helps the fly stand out in off-color or turbulent conditions.

Dead-drift it tight to the bottom through riffles and runs, where stonefly nymphs live beneath the rocks for most of their lives.
