Gringo Crab Tan #2

The Gringo Crab in Tan is a crab imitation on a size 2 hook from Solitude Fly. The tan coloration is a natural match for crabs over pale sand flats.

Fish it for permit with a slow, deliberate retrieve. Letting the fly sit motionless after landing often draws the inspection that leads to a take.

Permit are famously selective, so a natural drift with minimal false casting gives this fly its best chance.
