Banger Chartreuse #4/0

The Banger in Chartreuse is a surface popper on a 4/0 hook from Umpqua. Worked aggressively, it throws water and sound that calls predators up from the depths.

Fish it for barracuda and other toothy predators with hard strips and long pauses. Topwater strikes from barracuda are savage, so keep the fly moving until the fish is on.

A fast, erratic retrieve is the key trigger for these aggressive predators.
