Furminsky’s Hot Legs Hopper #12

Furminsky’s Hot Legs Hopper is a grasshopper dry fly with attention-grabbing legs. The leggy profile suggests a kicking hopper struggling on the surface.

Fish it on a dead drift along grassy banks in late summer, with an occasional twitch for added realism.

For the best results, land it tight to grassy banks and let it sit motionless for a few seconds trout often strike a terrestrial the moment it touches down.
