Tenkara Sparkle Dun PMD #16

A sparkle-dun style Pale Morning Dun made for tenkara fishing. The trailing shuck suggests an emerging dun struggling in the surface film a stage trout often prefer over the fully hatched adult.

Fish it on a dead drift during PMD emergences, letting it ride flush and drag-free.

Fish the hatch, not the clock: watch the water for noses before casting, and place the fly a few feet above each rise for the most natural drift.
