Hot Spot Squirrel #16

The Hot Spot Squirrel is a buggy nymph with a bright hot spot collar that triggers strikes in fast or stained water. The scruffy profile suggests a variety of subsurface insects, making it a versatile searching pattern.

Fish it as a point fly in a nymph rig or trail it behind a larger stonefly imitation. Size #16 offers a solid presence for drawing fish from deeper slots and seams.
