Shamrock Pike Float Kit 25g

Shamrock 25g Pike Float Kit Complete Float Fishing Setup for Pike

The Shamrock 25g Pike Float Kit contains the essential components needed to set up a float rig for pike fishing. Supplied as a convenient all-in-one kit, it includes a 25g inline pike float, egg weight, rig accessories and a ready-made 30lb supple wire two-hook trace with semi-barbed hooks.

This kit removes the need to select the individual float, weight, beads, stops and wire rig separately. The components are matched for a straightforward predator float setup, making it useful both for anglers starting pike fishing and experienced anglers who want a quick replacement rig ready in their tackle bag.

Use the kit for float fishing on Irish lakes, rivers and canals where presenting bait at a controlled depth is important. The inline float allows the fishing depth to be adjusted using the supplied float stops, making the setup suitable for working different depths around drop-offs, weed margins, slower river sections and deeper swims. Its 25g rating also provides good visibility and stability when fishing in moderate wind or flow.

Why It Works for Irish Anglers

The adjustable inline float setup is particularly practical on Irish waters where depth can change considerably between shallow margins, weed beds and deeper channels. The 25g float gives a clear indication at distance and provides enough capacity for a stable presentation when wind or surface movement makes lighter floats difficult to control.

The supplied 30lb soft steel wire rig provides bite protection when targeting pike, while the semi-barbed size 8 hooks are already incorporated into the two-hook trace. Having the weight, beads and float stops in the same pack also makes it easier to replace or assemble a complete rig at the waterside.
