Westin Steelsrike Viper Spoon 9cm 13g Firetiger

Westin Steelsrike Viper Spoon 9cm 13g Firetiger

The Westin SteelStrike Viper Spoon 9cm 13g is a compact predator lure designed to combine strong flash, vibration and a lively swimming action. Its hydrodynamic body moves smoothly through the water while producing a broad flashing motion that imitates an injured or fleeing baitfish.

A willow-style blade mounted near the hook adds extra shimmer and vibration during the retrieve, helping the lure stand out in coloured water, around weed or when fish are holding deeper. The heavy-duty construction and ultra-sharp hook make it suitable for repeated pike fishing in demanding conditions.

Fish the SteelStrike Viper with a steady retrieve through shallow bays and weed edges, or allow it to sink before retrieving when working drop-offs and deeper water. Its 13g weight also gives useful casting distance without requiring heavy tackle.

Why It Works for Irish Anglers

Pike often hold around weed beds, drop-offs and open-water baitfish areas in lakes, canals and slow rivers. The SteelStrike Viper combines visual flash with vibration, helping predators locate the lure in stained water, wind-affected conditions or lower visibility.

The 13g weight makes it suitable for covering water from the bank while still allowing the spoon to be fished relatively slowly when pike are less aggressive.

Perfect For

• Pike fishing in lakes and canals
• Working weed edges and shallow bays
• Fishing drop-offs and deeper margins
