Dave’s Hopper Foam Body

Dave’s Hopper with a foam body is a modern take on the classic grasshopper pattern. The foam construction keeps it floating high cast after cast, even in fast water.

Available in sizes 10 and 8. Fish it on a dead drift along grassy banks during hopper season, typically August through September.

A gentle twitch during the drift suggests a struggling insect and can turn a follow into a strike when trout are being cautious.
