Borden’s Special #4

Borden’s Special is a #4 traditional steelhead and salmon fly from MRFC.

A classic-pattern choice for the traditionalist. Fish it on the swing through runs and pools where salmon and steelhead rest between lies.

The #4 size suits typical steelhead water. Traditional flies excel with an unhurried, natural presentation.

A slow, deliberate swing gives fish time to find and take the fly.
