Crust Nymph PMD #16

The Crust Nymph PMD is a Pale Morning Dun nymph imitation with a crusty, textured body that suggests a real insect. PMD hatches are a cornerstone of summer trout fishing across the West.

Fish it dead-drifted near the bottom in riffles and runs during PMD season. Size #16 matches the naturals trout expect when these mayflies are active. Mayfly nymphs are on the trout menu nearly every day of the season, so a pattern like this earns a permanent place in your nymph box.
