Floating Crab Tan #1

The Floating Crab in Tan is a floating crab imitation on a size 1 hook from Enrico Puglisi. The tan dressing is a natural match for crabs over sandy flats.

Present it ahead of cruising permit and let it sit motionless. The subtle presentation is often what finally convinces a wary permit to eat.

Permit are famously selective, so a natural drift with minimal false casting gives this fly its best chance.
