Flutterbug Paulson’s Orange #6

The Flutterbug in Paulson’s orange is a fluttering-wing stonefly dry fly. The orange tones and spread-wing profile suggest a Golden Stone adult on the surface.

Fish it on a dead drift during Golden Stone hatches, focusing on bank water and riffles.

Fish it with confidence in pocket water and along cut banks, where the large profile and surface disturbance pull trout out of cover.
