Hi Vis Foam Skwala #12

A foam-bodied Skwala stonefly dry fly with hi-vis coloring. Skwalas are an important early-spring stonefly hatch, and the foam body keeps this pattern floating high in cold, fast water.

Fish it on a dead drift along the banks during the Skwala emergence, typically March through May.

Focus your casts on the shady bank and under overhanging branches, where stoneflies crawl out and trout wait below for the stragglers.
