Hot Spot Comparadun PMD #14

A Comparadun-style Pale Morning Dun with a bright hot spot at the thorax. The hackle-free design rides flush in the film like a natural dun, while the hot spot gives trout and you a focal point.

Fish it on a dead drift during PMD hatches, especially to selective trout in smooth, slow water.

This is a confidence pattern for hatch situations: tie it on when you see dimples and subtle sips, and let the drift do the work.
