A chatter that works at every speed – and keeps working on the fall

Imakatsu has always taken chatterbaits seriously, and the Rainbow Blade – developed with designer Kazufumi Yamaoka – is their next-generation answer.

The Glide Eye

The line eye is not fixed. The blade rides on a “Glide Eye” that lets it travel forward and back, so it automatically settles wherever it catches water most efficiently. That is what lets the Rainbow Blade hold its vibration across the whole retrieve-speed range instead of only in a narrow window.

It also means the blade keeps moving on a slack-line curve fall – the moment most chatterbaits go dead. Fish it fast, fish it slow, or let it drop on a curve: the blade is still working.

FECO certified

These colours are JB/NBC FECO certified, so they are legal for eco-regulation tournaments.
