John Wood’s Shape Shifter

The John Wood’s Shape Shifter from MRFC is an emerger. A proven pattern worth keeping in the nymph box.

Emergers imitate insects in the vulnerable transition from nymph to dun. Fish it in or just under the surface film during a hatch a drag-free drift is everything. Carry a selection in several sizes to match the hatch at hand.
