Macgruber Jackson Purple #18

Originally conceived as a midge, the Macgruber fishes best as a small BWO nymph in purple. It imitates the tiny dark mayfly nymphs of tailwaters and technical rivers. Fish it deep on a nymph rig when fish are keyed on small olives.
