Mantis Shrimp – Olive – #6

The Mantis Shrimp in Olive is a mantis shrimp imitation on a size 6 hook from Enrico Puglisi. The olive coloration matches the shrimp and mantis shrimp found over grass and mottled bottoms.

Fish it for bonefish and permit along the bottom with slow strips. The natural olive tone blends with turtle grass flats where these predators hunt.

On the flats, a quiet presentation and a slow, steady strip usually outperform extra casting distance.
