MAYFLY TAILS

Details

Mayfly tails are essential components in imitating mayfly nymphs and emergers, two critical stages in a mayfly’s lifecycle.

When using mayfly tails in your fly tying, consider the size, shape, and color of the tails to match the specific mayfly species you’re imitating. Mayfly tails are typically tied using natural materials such as feathers, synthetic fibers, or microfibers.
