Micro Crab Sand #8 BC

The Micro Crab in Sand is a small crab imitation on a size 8 hook with bead-chain eyes, from Enrico Puglisi. The tiny profile matches the small crabs found on shallow flats.

Fish it for permit and bonefish in skinny water where subtle presentations matter. The bead-chain eyes give it a soft landing that won’t spook wary fish.

Permit are famously selective, so a natural drift with minimal false casting gives this fly its best chance.
