Purdee John Yellow #16

The Purdee John in yellow is a bright attractor nymph built to stand out in the drift. Yellow reads well underwater and gives trout a clear target in fast riffles and off-color water.

A good searching pattern for spring runoff and high water. Size #16 fishes well as a point fly in a nymph rig. Mayfly nymphs are on the trout menu nearly every day of the season, so a pattern like this earns a permanent place in your nymph box.
