Shop Vac Black #18

The Shop Vac is a midge pupa pattern designed to imitate midges as they ascend to hatch, when trout key on emergers.

Fish it in the surface film or just below it, either on its own to rising fish or as a dropper behind a dry fly.

A dependable pattern for nymphing runs, riffles, and deep slots all season long.
