T-Jig Perdigon PMD May #18

The T-Jig Perdigon PMD May from MRFC is a perdigon tied in size #18. Size #18 covers the naturals trout encounter most often.

Perdigons are smooth, heavily weighted attractor nymphs in the Spanish competition style. They sink fast and imitate nothing in particular which is exactly why they catch fish. When fish ignore everything else, a perdigon often saves the day.

Tied on a jig hook, it rides hook-point-up, which means fewer snags on the bottom and surer hook-sets.
