Hopper Sweetgrass #14

The Hopper Sweetgrass from Dream Cast Fly Fishing is a grasshopper dry fly in natural sweetgrass tones. The #14 sizing suits pressured water where a smaller hopper draws more confident rises.

Fish it on a dead drift along grassy banks during hopper season.

Target the undercut banks and overhanging grass where hoppers and beetles fall in; a sloppy cast that lands in the grass and plops in can be the best one.
