More-Or-Less Hopper Tan

The More-Or-Less Hopper in tan is a grasshopper dry fly pattern from Montana Fly Company. The tan coloring matches natural hoppers that end up in the water through late summer.

Available in sizes 12 and 8. Fish it on a dead drift along grassy banks, with an occasional twitch to suggest a struggling hopper.

When fish short-strike, resist the urge to set too soon; let the trout turn with the fly before lifting the rod.
