Fluttering Stone Morrish Salmonfly #6

A fluttering-style Salmonfly dry fly from Umpqua in the Morrish design tradition. The outstretched wing profile imitates an adult Salmonfly with wings spread a vulnerable moment trout exploit.

Fish it on a dead drift with an occasional twitch during the Salmonfly hatch.

Focus your casts on the shady bank and under overhanging branches, where stoneflies crawl out and trout wait below for the stragglers.
