Royal Ant #14

The Royal Ant is an ant dry fly in the classic Royal color scheme from CATCH Fly Fishing. The red-and-peacock banding makes it a proven attractor during ant falls.

Fish it on a dead drift on warm, calm afternoons when flying ants are on the water.

For the best results, land it tight to grassy banks and let it sit motionless for a few seconds trout often strike a terrestrial the moment it touches down.
