Tubby Salmonfly

The Tubby Salmonfly is a wide-bodied Salmonfly dry fly pattern. The bulky profile floats high and pushes a visible wake that draws aggressive strikes.

Available in sizes 6 and 8. Fish it on a dead drift during the Salmonfly hatch, or skate it through riffles.

Focus your casts on the shady bank and under overhanging branches, where stoneflies crawl out and trout wait below for the stragglers.
