Secret Sauce Hopper Brown #12

The Secret Sauce Hopper in brown is a grasshopper dry fly pattern. The brown tones match darker natural hoppers and suggest a range of large terrestrials.

Fish it on a dead drift along grassy banks during hopper season.

For the best results, land it tight to grassy banks and let it sit motionless for a few seconds trout often strike a terrestrial the moment it touches down.
